LIGHT THE WAY Inc. is a design company with focus on motion design based in Tokyo, Japan. We created our own brand movie to convey our dedication for creativity. Our corporate slogan is “With our creativity, we will open new ways forward”. It is not easy to show this slogan with just one visual expression. In this work, we actively experimented with new techniques like 3DCG and drawing animation, not only using 2D motion graphic expressions, which is our specialty. We paid close attention to the balance of each element to ensure that this slogan was conveyed logically and accurately while incorporating rich and emotive visual expressions. This work depicts a process by which LIGHT THE WAY creates new value together with a client. At the beginning, an abstract idea from the planning stage appears as an object. Then we discover its appeal from various viewpoints and refine it through repeated trial and error. Even after the idea takes shape, we continue to accompany the client to co-create new values and phenomena that have never been seen before.
