About this video
FedUp StudioLab is a new hatched studio in UK created by a Spaniard and an Italian and with a list of international collaborators (they call the team members ducks). They invited Ivan Miguel to direct and create one of their brand's identities. Ivan Miguel developed a (mostly) kinetic animation that differs from other identities from the studio. Being riskier in the piece's rhythm, music, and intense signal noise, compensated with texts that refer to services the company offers. The final piece is an in-between experimental, a classical service identity, a video clip, and an event title. The video wants to tap into frustration as a positive force of change, socially rejected. Frustration is a great agent of transformation that provides energy to move from a dark place to a better, strong more creative one. The music was created ad hoc for this animation being the main voice and the chorus members of the own studio. In a way, working the whole piece like an emblem, a flag and a hymn of the studio.
